PART TIME GROUNDS MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE
Tuxford Town Council require a SEASONAL Grounds Maintenance Operative to work 42 hours per week. The hours of work will be 6am to 3pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and 6am to 12.30pm Friday.
There will be a requirement to work 2 hours on a Saturday or Sunday (to suit the individual)
Rate of pay will be in the region of £20,258 to £21,189 pro rota per annum, dependent on experience. More »
*Actual pay per annum will be in the region of £13,267.80 to £13,872.60 (between £10.53 - £11.01 per hour).
The main duties are Grass Cutting, Horticultural Work, Litter Collection, Playground Maintenance and General Repairs and Duties to maintain and improve Tuxford Town's environment.
A full driving licence is essential.
Seasonal contract runs for 30 weeks every year
(This year it will be 13 March 2023 to week ending 13 October 2023).
There is the possibility of this position becoming full time.

Our ref: 615449 – A1 between Carlton on Trent and Blyth - essential safety maintenance works
Essential maintenance work to replace the vehicle safety barrier on the A1 between Carlton on Trent and Blyth.
This work will be carried out from Monday 30 January and due to finish mid-December 2023. We'll be working overnight, between 8pm and 6am, Monday to Friday, when there is less traffic on the road. More »
Further updates will be issued advising when we'll be working in your area.
Work will be carried out within lane closures, with one lane remaining open at all times. We'll work on the northbound and southbound carriageways at different times.
We'll make every effort to ensure the impact on the local community and travelling public is kept to a minimum. We always aim to work to the programme, however unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions may mean changes.
